PROGRAM DESIGN STRATEGY is where we map out the future of your Work-Based Learning (WBL) program.
Most schools and organizations have big ideas - but turning them into programs that actually work is another story.
Design pathways that align with CDOS and WBL benchmarks.
Most work-based learning programs end up feeling like a patchwork of checkboxes: internships that don’t stick, paperwork that eats more time than it saves, or “career readiness” tasks that look good on paper but don’t actually move the needle.
One conversation can shape a strategy, unlock new opportunities, and give you a plan to reimagine readiness and what career prep means for students after high school.
This consultation helps take your vision from “good idea” to a fully built, ready-to-run program. We don’t just talk outcomes; we map them. We don’t just brainstorm activities; we design deliverables.

I’m Vicky Ayala – a strategist and storyteller with 20+ years of experience across vocational counseling, web design, and online marketing. By day, I work at a Bronx transfer high school helping young adults recognize their strengths, rewrite their narratives, and carve out futures that feel possible.
By night (and every hour in between), I build programs, write books, and pursue my M.S. Ed in Instructional Design because I believe learning should be as creative as it is practical.
I’ve collaborated with brands and orgs from NBC Universal to The Latinista. At the core of it all is my mix of strategy, intuition, and real talk – because whether it’s students, startups, or schools, my mission is the same: to make work, worth, and wellness actually connect.
